General Community Rules

All members must abide by Ghost Demon's Terms of Service and Code of Conduct.

Community Conduct

Ghost Demon RP is committed to providing a safe environment for players to explore their creativity through online gaming and roleplay. Members are expected to be respectful of each other at all times. Hate speech and other abusive or discriminatory language will not be tolerated. Treat everyone with respect, and do your part to keep Ghost Demon RP positive and fun.

1. Never bully or harass.

We do not tolerate bullying, discrimination, or harassment of any kind within our community. Players are expected to never communicate or behave in any way that is predatory, threatening, intimidating, lewd, demeaning, derogatory, or meant to disrupt another member's experience. Insults and verbal attacks outside of in-character roleplay are strictly prohibited.

2. Never grief or troll.

Griefing or trolling is any activity designed to deliberately interfere with, restrict, or ruin the gaming experience of another player. This typically coincides with harassment or bullying and can cover many scenarios.

3. Never cheat or exploit.

Cheating, hacking, using third-party programs or scripts, exploiting game bugs, and engaging in any activity that grants an unfair advantage is prohibited on Ghost Demon RP servers. If you are suspected of hacking or exploiting, your access may be temporarily revoked during the investigation. If you find a glitch or exploit, please submit a ticket.

4. No Hate Speech.

We have a zero-tolerance policy for hate speech and discrimination. Hate speech includes prejudice, hateful content, slurs, or statements that promote discrimination, hatred, violence, or intolerance toward others based on race, ethnicity, gender identity, sexual orientation, religion, or disabilities.

5. No Firestarting.

Speaking poorly of roleplayers and staff, antagonizing other members to elicit responses, or engaging in heated arguments in public forums will not be tolerated. If you have an issue with another member, submit a report or handle it privately rather than incite additional toxicity. As a member of the community, you represent Ghost Demon even when out of character.

Content Restrictions

All content shared within Ghost Demon RP services must abide by Twitch Terms of Service and Twitch Community Guidelines.

6-a. English Required

While Ghost Demon RP welcomes players from all countries, we are a North American server, and public communications must be in North American English. You must be fluent enough to understand others and be understood in fast-paced interactions occurring both in written format and VOIP communication. If your fluency is too low, your server access may be removed.

All public communication must be in North American English.

6-b. No Advertising

Advertising is not permitted on Ghost Demon RP Services. This includes advertisements and promotions for roleplay-related content, Steam Workshop mods, other gaming communities, additional servers, livestreams, and community events.

• Ghost Demon RP events may be posted to the event's channel in our discord.
• Ghost Demon RP ads may be posted in the in-game chat and in the advertising channels of our discord.
• Server livestreams may contain the labels "Ghost Demon RP" or "GDRP."

6-c. No Spamming

Spamming is not permitted. This includes excessively communicating nonsense, the same phrase, or similar phrases in a short amount of time, as well as creating threads designed to incite agitation or disruption.

6-d. Banned Content

Content related to the following topics is not permitted and may result in a permanent community ban:

• Nudity or sexually explicit content
• Rape and sexual assault
• Child abuse and pedophilia
• Bestiality and necrophilia
• Slavery and human trafficking
• Images of bodily fluids or excrement
• Gore, mutilation, and graphic violence
• Suicide and forms of self-harm
• Symbols associated with hate groups
• Terrorism, genocide, or real-world tragedy

Rule Intent & Admin Discretion

The rules are not exhaustive but represent a clear image of our standards and expectations for the Ghost Demon community. Players are expected to understand the spirit of the rules and not abuse syntax, ambiguity, or apply false interpretation to bypass them.

7-a. Admins have ultimate discretion during rule enforcement.

Administration has ultimate discretion over what they consider a breach of the server rules, unacceptable action, or general behavior that creates a negative playing experience or is detrimental to the roleplaying environment on Ghost Demon RP.

7-b. Never contact staff directly for support.

Never message Ghost Demon RP Staff (Owners, Devs, Admins, or Moderators) directly with issues or questions unless there is an active server emergency. Staff are not obligated to respond to private messages related to Ghost Demon RP. If you need assistance, submit a ticket, and a staff member will contact you if needed.
